Henrietta Johnson Medical Center provides, adult medicine, senior care, vision and hearing screening, minor surgery, sexually transmitted disease testing and treatment, adolescent health education program, teen pregnancy program, immunizations, reproductive care and pediatric care. Henrietta Johnson Medical Center (HJMC) is a Federally Qualified Health Center and provides a wide range of medical and dental services, at two sites located within the city of Wilmington. We offer caring, quality healthcare for children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. Every patient who visits our facility has his or her own dedicated physician. HJMC participates with most insurances, including Medicaid and Medicare. A sliding fee scale, based on income and family size, is available for uninsured patients. Community health centers like ours have been recognized as a cost-effective and necessary alternative to emergency room-based primary healthcare services.
